Case studies: launch log

Sonora Brush Clearing: a $2,500 job 4 days after launch.

Most case studies show the end result. This one starts on launch day, and the site brought in work within its first week. We will keep adding the real numbers as the site grows, good or bad, so you can watch a new site ramp up.

The situation

Sonora Brush Clearing is a local crew in Sonora, CA. It clears brush, dry grass and low limbs from homes, cabins and land across Tuolumne County: brush clearing, defensible space for CAL FIRE inspections, and lot and land clearing, including fire breaks. Steep ground is cut by hand. The brush is chipped, hauled away or piled for a burn.

On launch day the site was brand new. A new domain, no history on Google and no reviews tied to it. The goal: someone near Sonora needs land or brush cleared, finds the site and asks for a quote.

What was built

  • A site about one thing: brush clearing and defensible space. Every page is about that service.
  • Pages for each service and 8 towns around Sonora, each with photos, details and a call button.
  • A quote form on every page. Each request lands in the owner’s email, so it shows up on their phone right away.
  • Answers to what people ask before they hire. Cost, what CAL FIRE checks, what happens to the brush.

The work on the site

Dead branches and dense brush under oak trees along a wire fence on a slope
Before: dead brush and low limbs along a fence line.
The same slope along the fence with the dead brush removed and the oaks limbed up over open ground
After: the same slope cleared and the oaks limbed up. Real job photos like this are what the site's pages are built from.

What day 4 means, and what it does not

One job in week one is a signal, not a trend. Rankings on Google usually take 3 to 6 months to build. That is why our guarantee is about page 1 within 6 months, not leads in week one.

What day 4 does show: the site works as a sales tool from the start. A buyer with a $2,500 job found it, read it and trusted it enough to fill out the form. The ranking numbers come next.

Results so far

  • 4 daysfrom launch to the first lead.
  • $2,500first job, through the website form.

What it cost

The same build on the Tenfold Local Base plan is $1,000 to start. Then it is $350 a month at founding rates. See pricing.

What's next

The first owner voice note articles. Before and after photos from real jobs. Then leads and rankings, added to this page as they come in.

Read the Wacky Weedeating case study for what a site looks like after a year. Or the Bramwell-McKay case study for page 1 in 7 towns. Every site we have built is in the Tenfold Local portfolio.
