Vazul Hites, founder
I took a trades business from zero to $60,000 a month. Search did most of it.
I am not an agency. I own a trades business. I got sick of paying for marketing that never brought a call I could count. So I learned to do it myself. Now I do it for other owners.
The short version
I grew up in a small town. I built a local landscaping and brush clearing business from zero to $30,000 a month in its first three months. Less than a year in, we hit $40,000, then $50,000, then $60,000+ a month.
Along the way, I saw my real skill was not the field work. It was getting the phone to ring. I paid agencies thousands a month for results I could not see. So I dug in and did it myself.
Then owners kept asking me to do the same for them.
Since then I've advised other companies. I've built lead systems that run on their own for local trades. I've also built dashboards, internal tools, CRMs, sales pipelines and email marketing for other trades businesses. Most of that takes more work to set up than search. But search is where I'd start any owner. When people need the work done, they ask Google, and more and more they ask AI tools like ChatGPT. Show up there and the phone rings.
The numbers, from my own company, Wacky Weedeating
- $0 to $30K/moin the first 3 months. A new brush clearing and vegetation management company in Sonora, CA. Its rivals had been around 14+ years.
- $60K/moin under a year. $40K, then $50K, then $60K a month, all in the first 12 months.
- 1 to 4 trucksplus 4 trailers and 3 crews out each day. We hired when the work came. The work came from search.
- ~70%of all leads now come from the site. That's more than referrals, ads and word of mouth put together.
- $0on Facebook ads. It was tens of thousands a year. The phone rings more now than when we paid.
- #1 in ~3 moon Google for weed abatement, weed eating and weed whacking. The site went live in April 2026. Brush clearing took about 4 months.
The month by month story is in the Wacky Weedeating case study. Want to see it work in a new state and a new trade? Read the Bramwell-McKay case study: 7 new towns on page 1 of Google in 1.5 months. The newest site is Sonora Brush Clearing, which took its first $2,500 job 4 days after launch.
Why only trades businesses
Because I run one. I know how a slow February feels. I know what one good job is worth. I know how much time an owner has for marketing: close to none. Tenfold is built for that. You send one voice note a week. I do the rest.
I have stood where you stand. I built a trades business from nothing, and I still run it. I paid agencies month after month for calls that never came, and I felt every dollar of it. So I learned to make the phone ring myself. It worked for my company. Now it works for other owners, in other trades and other states. That is why I'm sure I can do it for you. I'm not selling a theory. I'm handing you what already works.
How I work
- Text or voice note. No long email chains. No weekly meetings.
- Send changes in writing, one email a month. They're done within the week.
- Partner clients get a direct line to me: text, voice, calls.
- You get a straight answer. Even "this won't work for you" when it won't.
